Teacher – Rod Lee
Subjects – Outdoor and Teambuilding, English Language, Team Sports, Life Skills
Rod was born in Montreal, Canada but grew up in Vancouver. Once upon a time he went to college in Vancouver but got his real education traveling the globe. He has been fortunate to have visited over 70 countries and enjoy learning about new cultures. Rod found time in his travels to become a Certified English teacher and has subsequently taught English in Czech Republic, Japan and China in addition to Denmark. He have also worked in Norway, Ireland and New Zealand in various capacities.
Rod heard about the wonderful tradition of Folk High Schools while living in Norway and that’s what led him initially to IPC – as a student. A few years later he was invited back to IPC in the role of Student Teacher for two terms. IPC hired him as a full-time guest teacher and Rod has been coming and going ever since. Rod also helps initiate the 3 week intensive English Language course at IPC so you can find him at IPC in the summer time too!
When Rod manage to find some free time, he like listening to music, photography, sports (especially ice hockey and floorball!), and of course traveling.
