At IPC we love having guests! We especially love it, when students have their families and friends visit here. Therefore, we would like to inform you about our guest policy and booking procedure (read more here if you are a former student visiting on your own).
• If you have day guests, you need to inform the Teacher on Duty (ToD) prior to their arrival. In the message you should inform the ToD about the name(s) of your guest(s), your relation to them (friend, family etc.) and for how long they are going to stay around.
• You will of course still have to join your classes, fellowships and other obligatory activities, when you have guests. Your guests can if appropriate join you in your classes upon prior agreement with the relevant teachers.
• Your guests can also join meals in IPC Dinning Hall. Payment must be made to the reception in advance. Lunch and dinner are 50 DKK per person. Brunch is 75 DKK per person.
• Your guests can stay on campus until 22:00h Monday to Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, they can stay on campus with you until 23:00h. On Sunday guests need to leave the IPC campus no later than 19:00h.
• You are responsible for taking care of your own guests and ensuring that they follow IPC community guidelines.
• Your guests cannot be on campus if you are not present.
• Guests can stay overnight at IPC from Thursday afternoon until Sunday at 19.00h. This means guests cannot stay over on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. However, you cannot have overnight guests during the first and the last week of the term.
• Since our guest capacity is limited, we can only have a total of 10 guests per night.
• Each student can only have a maximum of 2 guests staying overnight at a time.
• Guests can sleep in your room on a mattress on the floor. If you have a roommate, you need to clear it with your roommate in advance. Alternatively, guests can sleep on a mattress in a classroom. This needs to be approved by the ToD.
• The price for an overnight guest is 250 DKK per night, including meals and bedlinen. The price is non-negotiable, even if your guests are not planning on eating all their meals at IPC.
If you want to host overnight guests:
a) Check if your roommate is okay with your guests staying in your room.
b) Inform the ToD
c) Come to the office reception to make the official booking.
d) Pay 250 DKK per night per guest to the reception. – Your booking is not complete before you have paid.
e) Only after making the booking in the office reception should you confirm the booking with your guest.
f) Ask one of the Student Teachers to help you with the practicalities (a mattress, bedlinen, etc.) Let us know if anything is unclear or if you need any help. We are happy to assist you.
