Communication is at the heart of human interaction. It is exciting and challenging. And communication amongst people that belong to different cultures with different values, visions, traditions and points of reference is not an easy task. In a global world, it is not only a must to manage intercultural communication but in many cases also a need for a better personal and professional development.
In this Folk High School Intercultural Communication Class, you will learn to understand and enjoy intercultural diversity – its added value and the challenges around it – and to reflect on and improve your communication skills in a multicultural context with an intercultural approach.
You will also develop skills that will help to fill the gap between cultures, to manage cooperation, dialogue, negotiation and conflict transformation within a multicultural framework.
Last but not least, you will improve the ability to express yourself clearly in multicultural educational, professional and private environments.
