Forskningsdøgn (Discovery Days) på Den Internationale Højskole

ENGLISH BELOW

Program:

Torsdag den 24. april kl. 20.00
Oplev et videnskabeligt stand-up show ud over det sædvanlige!

A mathematical answer to a moral dilemma: dating an oilman, Ali Eftekhari, Technical University of Denmark

The Status of the U.S. in International Affairs, Ben Dorfman, Aalborg University

Politics of Victimhood: What does it achieve?, Vincent Charles Keating, Syddansk University.

Discovery Days at IPC

We have gathered some of Denmark’s sharpest researchers to take us on a journey into the world of science through engaging talks and discussions during a week in April.

On Thursday evening, we kick things off with a scientific stand-up show where research meets humor. The following day, we dive into a current topic with a lecture on Trump’s first 100 days as president (again), followed by a Friday bar where you can continue the discussion over a beer with our international students. On Sunday, we round off the week with coffee, cake, and a thought-provoking talk on how victimhood can be used as a political strategy.

All talks will be held in English, and participation is free. Sign up at event@ipc.dk by letting us know how many are coming and which days you’ll be attending – if not all three.
