Teacher – Katrine Wettstein

Katrine was born in Denmark into a cross-cultural environment to a German mother and Chinese father. She holds a Master’s Degree in Cultural Studies and has specialized in Tibetan youth and minority issues. Katrine spent twelve wonderful years in Asia, where she completed academic work, was a guide for Danish tourists and an educational worker at the Beijing Center. Today she is a full-time artist working from her studio in Helsingør. Combining her artistic skills with teaching at IPC is another passion of hers. People are always the center of everything Katrine does, and her starting point is always the individual student and guiding them to become better at what they are passionate about.
