Principal and Teacher – Søren Launbjerg

Søren is the principal but also a teacher at International People’s College. In 2003 Søren was employed to teach his favorite subject Music and Drama. He still enjoys teaching although his administrative duties have grown bigger when becoming principal in 2009. Søren has a primary school teacher education but has never worked as one. Instead he has worked in different schools teaching music and drama – and for twelve years he has worked as a professional singer and actor performing in all major theatres in Denmark. His voice is best known as the Danish voice of Disney’s Aladdin. Søren loves exercising in nature, as well as traveling, cooking and spending time with his friends and family. Last but not least, Søren loves the idea of International People’s College and folk high schools and truly believes they make a positive difference.
