During every full term a two week period take place, also known as alternative weeks, where yo have the option of either going on a Folk High School study trip or staying on campus if you prefer to experience more of Denmark. Joining the alternative program on campus, you have the choice of two or more different programmes – usually an intensive Danish language course and an art project or photoshop course or the like. The programs will vary from semester to semester according to the teachers and students. The programs take place in the morning and in the afternoon the student body go on excursions, etc. The daily structure of alternative weeks are fundamental different from a normal day at International People’s College (read more about a typical day at IPC here). It is custom that about half of the student body go on study trips and half stay at our Folk High School in Denmark and participate in the alternative program.
