Facilities

Student rooms are comfortable with a double and a single room in a unit sharing a toilet and a shower. There's a closet, desk, some shelves, table, armchairs and a notice board in each room. This will be your home and you are responsible for keeping your own room, the shared bathroom, toilet and corridor clean during your stay.
You'll get clean bed linen every second week.

In the basement of the school there is a computer room with half a dozen computers that you can use any time of the day or night. There is also free internet access both in the computer room and via our wireless local area network.



You can find kitchenettes in every dormitory corridor. You can boil water for coffee/tea and do your private washing up. Equipment for cleaning student rooms, extra toilet paper and plastic bags for garbage can be found here as well.
In the basement there is a student kitchen where you can cook your own meals if you need a change from the meals that are served at the school or if you just want to surprise somebody with at home baked cake. Remember to keep the kitchen clean and tidy for the next students who want to use it.



In the basement of the school there is a laundry room with two washing machines, a dryer and ironing facilities. The price for washing is 15 DKK and drying 10 DKK.

There is a small library with some magazines and books where you can sit in peace and study for classes. Newspapers are regularly brought to the Common Room.

IPC has around 20 bicycles that can be used for excursions and for private use at weekends. A couple of bikes are also made available during weekdays for private use, such as going downtown Elsinore for essential supplies. The IPC bikes are mainly available for students on our long courses.

IPC sits on more than two hectares of land and apart from the buildings, you can find a small lake, a forest, a summer meadow and extensive lawn areas. From May to October these areas are in regular use and many night time bonfires are held down by the lake. There is an outdoor sports field ready for soccer, basketball and volleyball matches.

The office is open for the students from 10,45am to 2pm on weekdays.
At the office you can buy: stamps, postcards, telephone cards, washing and drying coins. You can also send faxes (the price depends on which country you are sending to) and make copies (the price is 0,50 DKK for each copy) if needed.
The office staff will try to help you with any problems or practical matters that might turn up if it at all possible. If not, you can be sure they will find somebody who can help you.
